Every city in Iran has a special list of desserts that have originated from that city and are a part of its culture and heritage.  

Faloodeh is very famous and popular Persian cold dessert which is a mixture of frozen noodles with lemon or cherry syrup and rose water.

Sohan is a traditional Persian saffron brittle toffee. Its ingredients consist of wheat sprout, flour, egg yolks, rose water, sugar, butter or vegetable oil, saffron, cardamom, and slivers of almond and pistachio.

Gosh-e Fil is an Iranian / Afghan doughnut that has the shape of an elephant ear. Doughnuts are deep fried and decorated with chopped pistachio and powdered sugar. Gosh-e Fil is a ceremonial sweet in Afghanistan.
